- Alternate (unofficial) boat launching spot used by South Road property owner for smaller craft
- Public picnic spot up on the rocks at the point complete with picnic table
- Point where picnic table and fire pit are a common spot for the public - excellent blueberry picking
- Camping spot available by Portage and then water from McKenze or ATV through the trails
- Camping spot on the point with large stone fire pit made by the Ursulaks
